I bought this bridle used for $90. It had only been used about 15 times before I owned it. It started off with a purplish hue to it, but after I oiled it, it became a nice dark brown. The stitching on it remains a nice white. I cleaned it after every use and it still holds up perfectly now. It has fit a wide range of horses for me from Warmbloods, to Thoroughbreds, to QHs. This really is a great bridle for the price. The only reason I gave it an 8 is because I use a Stubben now and that is really nice and that would be a 9 for me (It also cost about $80 more). A ten would be a nice $300 bridle so I am pretty picky about my ratings. Anyway, I love my Somerset bridle. It is long lasting, has a nice color, and fits a wide range of horses and is still at a great price.
