The saddle was by a new company called Farrington. The fact that I'd never heard of them and reasonable cost (less than two hundred pounds)made me suspicious at first. However after looking it over it did seem well made so I took a chance. My welsh cob Harry is fairly broad but the saddle fit like a glove and looked very smart on. It was comfortable and gave me a good feel unlike some were you feel your horse is several feet beneath you!~nl~I have only had the saddle 2 weeks so how long it will last etc I don't know but it it made in English leather so there should not be any problems. I bought of a stall at an auction in Clitheroe were the firm were promoting. The people were very nice and took my name and address to send me a brochure of the rest of the range. And to be honest I can't wait for it to arrive. The days of me paying 450 pounds for a saddle are long gone!
