Dear B&B:~nl~I had the same experience with my Ariat boots as the writer who had leather peeling problems with hers. The top layer of the leather simply peeled and shredded within a year's time. I'm just an exerciser for polo and hunt strings and do not stress my boots in unusual ways. I've cleaned and conditioned the Ariats in the same way that I cared for some CHEAPO fashion boots that I've been using for riding for 3 years. No damage or peeling is evident on the CHEAPOs. Do you think that Ariat may have had a bad run of leather? Do you have a contact number for the company?~nl~~nl~Note from BitsAndBridles.com: take them back to the store you bought them. Ariats have a one year warrenty. Also their website is at http://www.ariat.com
